The only way is getting one of the color Ranger VIPS is using your credit card because you'll need it to purchase it. There're three options to choose from, Red, Blue, Black. So you can't change your color to Pink, when someone is banned from the board that person is in Pink color.

The gold is head administrator(s) of the board.
The crimson (dark red) color is for global moderators (that would have some admin mod actions as well).
The green color is forum mods.
As Emily said....the Red Ranger, Blue Ranger and Black Ranger are VIP members.
The aqua color is regular members.
