Jared Michaels Tendou Souji Adam Park
Location: The Tanezrouft -- The Citadel -- Two Days Later (Current RPG Time, i.e. the time everyone else's actions have been taking place)

Jared's eyes flew open as the bright lights of the room assaulted his vision, nearly blinding him and blurring what was still visible. He sat up and groaned, realizing he was laying on a soft bed, "Wha... What?" A voice called out, "Easy Michaels-san." Jared blinked a few time and rubbed his eyes as his vision returned to normal. He looked around the room and noticed he was in a small bedroom with a window facing a street. He reckoned this was probably a hotel room of some sort. He then turned toward the source of the voice and saw Tendou sitting on a chair, looking at him and smiling, "Tendou! How long?"

Tendou stood up and walked over to the window, peering out between the blinds, "Two days. The shock of seeing me must have caused the ordeal of surviving in the Tanezrouft for three days to catch up to you. Lucky for you, I already had this room rented so I just carried you back here." He tossed Jared a bottle, "Drink. It's water." Jared licked his chapped lips, twisted the cap off, and guzzled as someone knocked on the door. Tendou walked over to the door and leaned it against it, "Yes?" A young, female voice with a hint of a Nigerian accent returned, "Room service!" Tendou backed up and opened the door to see woman clad in a hotel worker's uniform holding on to a push cart with food on it, "Your order sir." Tendou nodded and held his hand out. The woman handed him a small pad which he inserted a credit chip. He moved a finger over the screen of the pad, then pulled the chip back out, pocketing it. He then picked up the plates of food as the woman smiled, "Thank you sir! Enjoy!"

Tendou nodded and stepped back into the room as the woman walked away with the push cart. Tendou placed the food on a nearby small table as Jared rolled out of bed and stood up, stretching, "Eat." Tendou turned and closed the door again. Jared looked down and noticed has wraps had been taken off and he was now clad in his navy t-shirt, jeans, and socks. Tendou quipped, "You didn't think I was going to let you sleep in those wraps, did you? Those things are hot. By the way, the beard is a good look for you. Now eat!" Jared smirked and sat down at the table as he began to eat voraciously. Tendou crossed his arms and chuckled, "Not that fast. You're going to get hiccups." In between swallowing, Jared spoke, "So what is this place and why are you here?" Tendou leaned against the nearest wall, "I'm here to find you. As far as this place... well... I think you already know given the fact that you were stupid enough to come out here in the first place." Jared looked up, food hanging from his mouth as he raised his eyebrow. He sucked the food in an swallowed, "Stupid?" Tendou nodded, "You braved the Sahara Desert without food and water. I would say that was pretty stupid. You're lucky my man found you." Jared finished his food and burped as he wiped his mouth with a napkin and stood up, "So the rumours are true then?" Tendou stood up from the wall, "More or less. Get your boots on and grab your jacket." Jared did as he was told and followed Tendou out of the room.

Tendou stopped at the front door and slipped his shades on, "Glasses. It's sunny and they're still looking for us." Jared nodded as he adjusted his black leather jacket and pulled his own shades out from his pocket and slipped them on before following Tendou out the door. He stayed close beyond Tendou as the duo walked the streets, "How can we tell who they are?" Tendou shook his head, "Right now, we can't. Not 100%. That's why I brought us here." The duo stopped as Jared looked up to see the large spire of the Citadel's Central Command. Jared placed his hand on his hips, "Really? We're going right into the hornets' nest?" Tendou nodded, "It's the only way to find out just how far in they've been infiltrated or if this Citadel was even legit to begin with."

Suddenly, the main doors swung open as a platoon of soldiers marched out. Tendou sighed, "Guess I should have seen this coming." The soldiers stopped as a single man walked through the middle, dressed in officers' garb, "We figured you would come here of your own accord." Tendou tensed, "And just what do you want with us anyway?" The officer shook his head, "Not you. Him." The officer pointed at Jared who raised an eyebrow behind is shades, "Me? What for?" The officer shrugged, "Ask the Commander when you see him." Tendou's eyes shifted behind his shades as he weighed his options. Normally he wouldn't hesitate like this, but he had no way of knowing who was innocent and who was not. In the next moment, the decision was made for him as a green beam of energy lanced through the sky and struck one of the soldiers dead in the chest, causing him to fall backward and hit the ground. All the soldiers and the officer turned to look at the soldier who convulsed as his form shifted to a silver armored Gormin. Jared pulled his shades off, "He's a Gormin! That means..." The entire platoon turned back to face Tendou and Jared as they all form shifted to their natural Gormin form. More green lasers began to fly in and strike Gormin down, but stopped when the officer pulled a red and silver cutlass from his jacket and deflected the incoming blasts. Jared's eyes went wide, "That's... not possible!" The officer then drew a red and black flintlock with his free hand and aimed it at the duo. But instead raised the gun and fired into the air behind them.

A green blur separated Tendou and Jared as the Green Turbo Ranger appeared between them holding a red pistol in one hand and a white on in the other. The officer smirked as he holstered his gun and rested his sword on his shoulder, "A Ranger with powers. Well this is a surprise... and an expected bonus!" He snapped his fingers, "Destroy the Ranger and the Rider! Bring me the miscreant alive!" The Green Turbo Ranger holstered his sidearm and tossed Jared the white one, "Here! Defend yourself!" Jared caught the gun and looked at it, then at the Ranger, "Green Turbo... but which one?" The Green Turbo Ranger drew his sword and ran headlong into the oncoming Gormin, slashing them with blurring speeds. Tendou began to engage them at melee range with martial arts. Jared levelled the Turbo Navigator in Defender Mode at the oncoming Gormin and began to fire. The officer growled in frustration as the ragtag team of heroes began to lay waste to the Gormin, "Enough!"

The surviving Gormin stopped and backed off as the three heroes looked on. The officer threw his sword into the air as he opened his jacket to reveal a distinct belt on his waist. He pressed the buckle, causing it spin around and reveal a Blue Ranger Key. Jared began to run forward, but Tendou stopped him, "Don't let him use that!" The Green Turbo Ranger made to move, but it was too late. In one quick motion, the officer pulled the key from its compartment and pulled a Mobirate from his pocket, "Gokai Change!"

    ==GOOOOOOKAIGER==

In a flash of blue light, he became Gokai Blue and caught his sword. Jared wrested free from Tendou's grasp, "That's my key and belt! How did you get that?!" Gokai Blue laughed, "That's for me to know... and for you to never find out!" Gokai Blue rushed forward as the Green Turbo Ranger ran forward and the two met in a clash of steel and sparks. Green Turbo clearly had the skill and speed advantage, but Gokai Blue clearly had the power advantage. Gokai Blue blocked a downward slash from Turbo Green and reached down with his free hand to pull another key from his belt. He released his sword for a moment and pulled the Mobirate once again, "Gokai Change."

    ==SHIIIIIINKENGER==

In another flash of blue, Gokai Blue was replaced with Shinken Blue and his cutlass replaced with a samurai sword. With the skill of the samurai with him, Shinken Blue easily out-skilled Turbo Green, deflecting his sword slashes, causing him to stumble. He then pulled a power disc and slid it on the hilt of the sword, spinning it, "Water Arrow!" In a flash of blue, his sword transformed into a blue longbow. He kicked Turbo Green away, then pulled back on the bow, letting fly with a flurry of blue arrows. The arrows hit Turbo Green square in the chest, causing him to fly back and land at Tendou's and Jared's feet, de-morphing in a flash of energy. Jared looked down and gasped, "Adam Park..." Adam got to his feet and chuckled as he pocketed his Turbo Key and Morpher, "Have to admit, wasn't expecting this." Jared glanced over at Tendou, "Tendou, you'll need to help Adam." In a flash of blue, Shinken Blue became Gokai Blue once more. He pulled two blue keys out of his belt and tossed them into the air before drawing his gun. Tendou gulped, "I cannot." Jared looked incredulous, "What?! Why not?!" He flipped the locks on his weapons up as the keys landed in them and turned. Tendou's eyes narrowed, "Because I currently lack the ability to Henshin."

    ==FIIIIINAL WAVE!==

Adam pulled a silver buckle from beneath his jacket, "It's Morphin' Time!" He then thrust it forward as the buckle split apart to reveal a golden coin in its center, "Mastadon!" In a flash of light, he became the Black Mastadon Ranger. Gokai Blue fired his gun, waited a moment, then slashed with his sword. The two waves combined into one massive wave. Adam touched the Mastadon emblem on his suit, "Metallic Armor Engage!" His suit got a metallic sheen as the white on his suit was replaced with shiny silver. He then held his right hand out, "Power Axe!" The massive black Power Axe appeared in the black Ranger's hand. He stood in front of Tendou and Jared and held the axe with both hands, using its massive blade as a shield, "Here goes nothing!"

They say you could tell a lot by how a man walked into a room. God only knows what the blue blazes anybody could tell from the four of them as Artemis brought them to an underground storage facility in Onxy that had long since been abandoned. From the first to the fourth, Artemis skulked into the room at a snails pace with a listless slouch and with his hands tucked away in his pockets, a posture that was by all means relaxed and perfect for one so lazy. The second of their party was Goldar who despite his downright menacing appearance was practically skipping into the room like a giddy schoolgirl, eager to be reunited with his old zord and to have it back in action again and so many years. The third member of their odd party cautiously made his way into the room and seeming a bit like a naughty schoolboy as he looked around and marveled at the whole place. If anything, Rito couldn't help but wonder what exactly used to be stored here back in its prime. Finally, Kougami strolled into the room with a measured march, cool as a cucumber as they ventured deeper in, an unusual contrast to his usually bombastic personality and outlandish antics.

As Artemis punched in a code and unlocked the door leading to their destination, the lights flickered and flared briefly before blinding them. And there it was. Restored to it's former glory and then some. It was sleeker in appearance and looked more polished than it previously had done and if anything it actually looked more like a Gundam or an Orbital Frame than the giant cumbersome metal hunk of death and doom.

"Ladies and Kougami! Allow me to present to you, Neo-Cyclopsis!"

"Really?" snarked Rito. "That was the best you could come up with?"

"We're talking about the boy who named a snake monster Fluffy, a chimera Jimmy and a carrier pigeon Adolf. We're lucky we got something even semi-decent," said Kougami utterly straight faced.

"Let him talk!" Goldar barked as he clobbered the two of them over the back of the head with the handle of his sword. With the message received, all eyes turned back to Artemis, fully attentive and alert as Artemis stood there tapping his foot and shooting them a look that just screamed "Are you done yet?" as he waited for them to finish.

"Anyway..." Artemis cleared his face before sweeping his arms up dramatically. "Neo-Cyclopsis! Now armed with a flight mode, 52 sub-weapons, a plasma cannon, stealth camouflage, a space compression teleportation mechanic, homing lasers and of course some complimentary escape pods and a luxury jet mode complete with bedrooms, regeneration tanks and sensory deprivation tanks!"

"You turned him into a giant Gundam," Goldar said through tears of sheer joy as he dropped to his knees and longingly hugged the foot of the giant mecha that had been reborn like a phoenix rising from the ashes thanks to the efforts of lazy, quirky sweet-toothed mad scientist.

"Err Art?" Rito raised his hand.

    "Yeah Rit?"

"When and how did you find the time to make this?"

"I made it after rejoining the Illusive Man," Artemis explained patiently. "Not all of my talents revolve around sneaking missions, recon, murder and maiming everything unpleasant. There's actually quite a few of my old experiments lying around the galaxy. For example: Fluffy,"

    "That abomination is still alive?!"

    "Hey!" objected Artemis. "He's adorable!"

"He's an eight headed Godzilla sized snake monster that can breathe fire, shooting lightning out of his eyes and regenerate! He might as well be the unholy love child of Galactus and Orochi!"

"He gives great hugs," came the stone cold serious reply from Artemis. "You said so yourself."

"He was strangling me! And him!" Rito said as he pointed at Goldar. "And well, all of us! And he tried to eat us on multiple occasions!"

"Details! Details!" dismissed Artemis with a wave of the hand.

Before they could resume the rather colourful argument on the subject of Art's beloved pet as to whether it was an adorable creature of cuddles and love or a never-ending bringer death and doom, Goldar's voice echoed from the cockpit as he impatiently called out to them. "Get in or get squashed!"

"There's our cue! Come on buddy!" Rito exclaimed with a twinkle in his eye and a song in his heart as he moved onwards and upwards.

Artemis sighed and slumped his shoulders in defeat as he skulked behind Rito. "Oh joy."

As they climbed into the cockpit, Goldar punched in the co-ordinates and switched it into jet mode and flew off. With Goldar's attention completely focused on getting there, Rito sat there lounging back in his chair and Artemis stared out of the window with a pensive look in his eyes as he stared out into the black abyss of space. After five years waiting and wishing for his death to come, Artemis had never really given it much thought as to how his former team mates were until now. What had Jared been doing all this time? Was he still out there fighting the good fight and playing the hero? Had he actually settled down and had some kids? Was Elisa still alive? As an unusual whirlwind of questions came to him, Art's dead eyed stare actually softened. Fatigue and weakness had done a number on his body and it showed from the weight loss and the dark circles and bags that clung feverishly underneath his eyes and that was without getting into the gallery of scars that ran up and down his body. Ultimately, he needed to rest and to heal. With that epiphany rooted in his mind, Artemis stood up and wandered out of the cockpit and wandered into the healing room and submerged himself in the regeneration tank and closed his eyes as he drifted off to sleep while they made their way to their destination.

"So, how's it feel piloting the old boy again?" Rito eagerly asked.

"It's like riding a bicycle!" replied Goldar giddily with glee as they took off. They arrived quickly enough to Earth and began, to make contact with the Citadel's docking security to allow them safe passage with the excuse that they had had come to drop off a delivery courtesy of Kougami Industries and sure enough, fortune favoured them as they managed to land in the docking station.

As the two misfits left the cockpit and were ready to deploy, Rito stopped in his stride. "What about Artemis?"

Goldar hesitated for a moment before giving his answer on the matter of the third member of their party. "Let him rest."

Rito nodded in agreement. After all the crap Art had been through, letting him actually get some rest was the least that they could do. If anything, they were both worried about their old friend. He didn't look well in the slightest. Artemis had always been on the skinny side of things but to see him quite literally skin and bones even through his rather ragged attire, it was unnerving to say the least. How long had he been like that? And had he done it on purpose as a means of further self destructing? Even though the pair of them wondered this, they didn't dare bring it up to Artemis. And so with great reluctance, the pair of them departed from the ship but not before putting security measures up and in place. There was no way any wannabe thief was stealing their vessel and they sure as hell weren't getting to Artemis.

The lower docks and regions of the Citadel that they had landed in was simply put a rather plain place. As they wandered, the former soldiers of evil wound up in the middle of a rather odd group of people that were gathering outside a large building, all of them clad in a number of colourful and outlandish costumes from all sources of geeky media, some they recognized such as Batman, Sailor Moon and some of the X-Men. However, the most noticeable ones that stood out to both Goldar and Rito were none other than...

"Power Rangers? Here?!" exclaimed Rito, getting an elbow to the ribs off Goldar to silently tell him to shut it.

The costumed crusaders turned round and faced them and out of a force of habit, the two of them whipped out their swords and prepared for a fight of some sort... Until they were hugged by them. Both of them turned and looked at each other confused at what the hell was going on here.

"Dudes! You guys look awesome and really realistic! You two are absolutely awesome cosplayers!" The Red Space Ranger praised enthusiastically.

Ever the nice happy golden ray of sunshine and rainbows, Goldar grabbed the poor lad by the scruff of his neck and hoisted him off his feet as he pulled him in close. "What do you mean cosplayers?" Goldar snarled menacingly.

"Holy crap dude! You even got the voice down to a tee!" laughed Red, infuriating the former right hand man of Rita Repulsa to no end. "Can we get a selfie?"

As he fought the urge to squish his head like a grape, Goldar placed him back down onto his feet and asked the most obvious question that sprung to mind: "What's going on here?"

"Comic Con man!" came the joyous answer from Red.

"Also it was the Ranger Legacy Festival a few days ago and some of us couldn't make it so we decided to do kill two birds with one stone!" chimed in Mighty Morphin' Pink.

    "The Ranger what now?"

"Ranger Legacy Festival! Its to celebrate the Power Rangers legacy. There's food, fireworks, a festival march and punch! You been living under a rock or something?" explained MMPR Pink and with a quip to boot.

"Something like that," muttered Goldar. "Can you excuse me for just one moment?"

"Yeah sure! Want us to save your place in line?"

"Sure why not." Goldar responded hastily as he looked round for Rito who had been uncharacteristically quiet throughout this entire discussion. "Hey Rit!" And there he was. Smack dead in the middle of a group of Ranger cosplayers striking posesand having selfies taken with them. Goldar facepalmed and shook his head. "Oh for the love of..."

Massaging his temples and taking deep breath in an effort to calm down, Goldar marched over and pulled his partner in crime away to one side. "Come on you bag of bones! We need to go and grab that knucklehead!"

"Aww come on Goldie!" whined Rito.

Goldar's hands quickly ensnared themselves around his old pal's bony throat as he rung his neck, having now officially said goodbye to patience and a very warm hello to rage "Let. Get. Sensible. OKAY?! " he yelled. "Now come on! Lets move out!"

And with that, Goldar dragged the skeleton along but before they could make their great escape and Goldar could merrily close the book on this chapter, the cosplayers intervened once again.

"Hi!" they said pleasantly with smiling faces as they removed their helmets. "Can we get a picture with you both before you head off?"

    "No!"

    "YES!"

Glares were exchanged and yet before any further protests could be made by him, a something tugged away at his leg and he looked down and saw a little boy around five years old dressed as him who then proceeded to ask him for a photo as he was his favourite baddie. "Alright kid." he complied.

Poses were struck, photos were taken and many folk were satisfied. And then a loud rumble went off from above and Goldar and Rito slipped out and teleported away from the scene of the crime. Smoke billowed in the distance and with the destination now known, they teleported straight to the battlefield. Goldar materialized in a wisp of flames and smoke directly in front of the fallen warriors and sneered cockily as he blocked the incoming wave of energy with his sword and cleaved it in two with one swing of his mighty sword, the wave disintegrated into dying embers. "Is that the best you can do?" he taunted, throwing his head back and laughing hysterically. "You'll have to do better than that to stand a chance against the mighty Goldar!"

Suddenly, he leaped up into the air and then came crashing down with a downward slash that Gokai Blue rolled out of the way to evade but Goldar expected this and dragged his blade down across his chest, sending him sprawling down to the ground. Unwilling to let his prey escape, the monstrous warrior thrust his weapon down ready to put an end to this poser as quick as lightning but alas, his stab missed its mark as Gokai Blue evaded once more. He charged after him, clashing blades and deflecting bullet rounds effortlessly. Goldar's red eyes flashed in excitement. "Time to close the gap," he thought, deciding not to let his pray stray too far as he shot out energy beams from his eyes. Gokai Blue rolled towards him and jumped up to the air and came crashing down, blade forcefully swung down ready to smite the beast whence he stood. "Pathetic!" cried Goldar as he shot him down with his eye beams and hoisted him up by the throat and held him there like a ragdoll. Once more, Goldar threw his head back in laughter. "Compared to the original Blue Ranger, you're nothing but small fry!" A wide grin spread across his face as Rito teleported into position, readying his stance into a shoulder stance. "FLY!"

With great force, the wannabe blue ranger was flung violently across the battlefield. "Batter up!" Rito cried as he slammed his weapon into his opponent's spine and sent him plummeting high into the sky. "Home run!" Rito exclaimed.

"Time to finish this blue boy!" Gold and black wings spread out across Goldar's back as the warrior relentlessly gave chase, soaring into the skies after him and cutting him to shreds from all angles before finishing it off with eye beams. Gokai Blue crashed deep into the ground, a small crater surrounding him from where he lay.

"A weakling like you has a two choices: Run or be destroyed. Which will it be?" said Goldar, a sneer etched into his face as he and Rito stood side by side, eager to dish out any further lessons in the class of Pain 101.

After a few moments, Gokai Blue slowly staggered back up to his feet, coughing and wheezing as the pain coursed and burned through his body like white hot fire. "Damn you..." He hissed before pointing directly at Jared. "You were lucky, boy. We'll meet again!" And just like that, the witness worm fled from the scene, leaving Goldar and Rito alongside Adam, Jared and Tendou. The skeleton and the flying monkey sheathed their weapons and turned to face the trio.

"Either you're getting rusty in your old age or the villains these days are actually getting better," Rito remarked casually to Adam with just a slight hint of disappointment in his voice before playfully punching him in the arm and then moving onto dusting off Tendou and then finally throwing Jared in a headlock before hugging him like the poor boy was some kind of long lost pet.

"Alright!" Goldar said impatiently. "Lets skip the reunion and get what we came for!"

"Oh right! Right! Michaels, you're coming with us on a hitchhikers guide to the galaxy to drop off a package and then save the world again!"

"Speed it up Rit! We've got a dead body to drop off and I'm not having it rot and stink up my baby!"

Jared Michaels Tendou Souji Adam Park
Location: The Citadel -- The Tanezrouft

The trio braced themselves for a blast that never game as a giant golden winged monkey thing appeared in front of them and cleaved the wave in two. Adam blinked behind his helmet and stood up, leaning on the axe head, "Goldar? He's the last thing I expected to see today." Adam shook his head, "Life of a Power Ranger I guess..." After Gokai Blue turned tail and ran, Adam was playfully jabbed in the side by Rito, "Either you're getting rusty in your old age or the villains these days are actually getting better." Adam powered down and smirked, "I may be getting old, but I can still get the job done." Before Rito could respond to that, Goldar lumbered over and put Jared in a headlock, "Oh right! Right! Michaels, you're coming with us on a hitchhikers guide to the galaxy to drop off a package and then save the world again!"

Jared flailed his arms, "HEY!" He then wriggled his way out of Goldar's grasp as Adam crossed his arms, "Michaels isn't going anywhere unless you came here with Sanada." Rito was about to respond when he was, again, cut off by Goldar, "Speed it up Rit! We've got a dead body to drop off and I'm not having it rot and stink up my baby!" Adam raised an eyebrow, "Your Baby?" Jared rubbed the back of his neck as he processed everything, "Wait... if you're here..." Jared dashed forward and grabbed Goldar's sword out of his hand before he knew what happened. He then raised it and pointed it up at Goldar's face, malice in his eyes, "Dead Body... What have you done with Artemis?!"

"What have you done with Artemis?!" demanded Jared, even going so far as to snatch his sword out of his hands and threaten him with it. Goldar stared him down, completely unfazed at the blade pointing at him. He and Rito briefly exchanged glances at one another before they both just shrugged nonchalantly.

"Is that anyway to greet someone who just saved your life?" Rito questioned. Goldar shared the same sentiment but chose not to voice it.

The flying monkey loudly snapped his fingers and the sword vanished from the upstarts' hands and reappeared in his own. Without pause, he rammed his free hand into Jared's face with an almighty slap and belted him him in the groin with the handle of his signature weapon. "Watch your tongue," he warned as he loomed over the boy and took a few steps back to at least give Jared time to get back up. "We. Did. Nothing. In case you've forgotten, Art was on death row and they finally did the deed a few days back. We snatched up his corpse before it could be disposed of. Next stop from here is Triforia to see his big brother so he can revive him. Anyway, while we're on the subject, if he really meant so much to you then how come you never bothered to go and see him before they stuck the needle in him, huh? Didn't see your name on the visitor log once. Only ones that went to see him were us, Astrid and the other Belmont's." Goldar's tone was harsh and cruel as the angry words left his lips. The little street rat had a lot of nerve throwing accusations around without considering the facts. On that part, he wasn't lying. For whatever reason, Sanada wanted him along for the ride just as much as Artemis but damned was Goldar if he was going to let a smarmy punk like Jared Michaels run his mouth, threaten him and overall be so damn rude and abrupt. It seemed Artemis had rubbed off him a little bit in that regard. "After that, we're off to future to lend a hand to a guy named Sanada to help save the galaxy again. So are you coming with us or not?"

"Other Belmont's?" Adam questioned. Only now did Goldar and Rito remember that Artemis remained incredibly tight lipped about his life. Everyone knew of his past time as the Head of R&D with Cerberus and for his hitman days with both Cerberus and Maki but as far as personal matters such as family, Art might as well have kept that under lock and key given how private he was about them.

"There's five of them." Rito explained quickly. "Shiloh, Olivier, Alex, Artemis and Cameron."

"So, are you two coming with us or not?" sighed Goldar.

    "We have cake!" Rito interjected.

    "No we don't!"

    "Yes we do!"

    "No we really don't!

"Fine!" shouted Rito as he threw his arms up in annoyance. "What do we have?"

    "We have chocolate chip cookies."

"COME AND SAVE THE GALAXY! WE HAVE COOKIES!" Rito announced dramatically and threw in a thumbs up that would make the likes of Gai and Rock Lee from Naruto shed a tear of pride and envy whilst Goldar supplied the tossing of confetti, a brief firework explosion and the cheesiest grin that he could muster... even if it did make him look like rampaging psychopath.

Jared Michaels Adam Park Tendou Souji Goldar
Location: The Citadel -- The Tanezrouft

That did it. The rage in Jared's eyes have only been seen once before and that was when Juunichi tried to kill his sister, Elisa, and his previous best friend gave his life for hers. Jared leaped forward and snatched the Dino Buckler off the back of Adam's belt. Adam reached for Jared, but he was too quick, "Jared don't!" Jared got in Goldar's face and sneered as he prepared to morph, "You're lying!" Goldar sneered back, "Am I?" Jared looked up at Goldar, "You tell me... monkey! You expect me to believe you never tried to stop the injection? Or let's say you couldn't, how is it that the prison facility isn't a smoldering ruin?!" Goldar stared directly back into Jared's eyes, "We. Were. In. Hell. And, as hard as it may be for you to believe, Rider, we were more interested in getting his body, as I said, to revive him on Triforia!"

Tendou grabbed Jared and pulled him back as Adam stepped between Jared and Goldar, "Triforia? I never knew Belmont was a Triforian." Jared kept his grip tight on the buckler, "Nor did I." Tendou reached down and placed a hand on the Dino Buckler, "Jared-san. Please release the morpher. It does not belong to you." Jared sighed and let go as Tenou took the morpher and handed it back to Adam. Tendou patted Jared on the chest as the young Rider calmed down, "Perhaps you should go with Goldar. See this body for yourself? Besides, if they're here because of Sanada, then you have no choice." Jared spun around, "What do you mean, no choice?" Tendou smiled, "Why do you think I sought you out?" Adam clasped Jared about the shoulders, "And me." Tendou raised an eyebrow, "You're here for Jared-san as well?" Adam nodded, "Sanada contacted me."

Jared pulled away from Tendou, "And what if I refuse?" Goldar thrust the blade of his sword into the Citadel's street and laughed heartily, "And why would you do that? You're Jared Michaels! One of the greatest heroes the galaxy has ever seen!" Jared kept his back to Goldar, "Not any more. I gave up that life shortly after you two were condemned to Hell." Goldar and Rito gapsed, "WHAT?!" Tendou chuckled, "I had a feeling you would refuse. You asked what would happen?" Tendou turned and started to walk off, "I will just go ask Elisa. She will jump at the chance." Jared sprinted at Tendou and speared him in the back, tackling him to the ground, "Don't you dare!" Tendou rolled over as Jared crouched over him, "Is that a yes, then?"

Jared growled, "Damn you Tendou. You know damn well the reason I gave up that life was because of what happened. You know I won't ever approve of her fully returning to that life." Tendou smiled, "Then you have made your decision. Duty calls." Jared stood up and turned his back to Tendou, "As I said, I am no hero. Hell, I don't even have any powers. They have them." Tendou wiped his mouth and patted Jared on the back of the shoulder, "Yours isn't the only one they have." Jared turned back around, "The Zecter?" Tendou shook his head, "No. The Zecter disappeared when the others were taken. I have not seen it since. No, they have Project Taisen. All... but one." Jared balled his right hand into a fist, a little of the old Jared beginning to surface, "I can guess which one. I hope I'm wrong because I NEVER want to see him again." Tendou nodded, "Now you see why it has to be you or Elisa." Jared sighed once more, "Fine. But I don't know what I can do. Like I said, I'm powerless." Tendou reached into his coat and pulled out a simple belt, handing it to Jared, "Perhaps not. Consider this a gift from me." Jared took the belt, "You're not coming?" Tendou shook his head, "As you stated, I am powerless. No, I would not be of use. Besides, someone has to finish what you started here."

Jared nodded as Adam stepped up beside Jared and fluffed his leather jacket, "I, however, am not powerless." Jared looked over his shoulder, "Adam?" Adam smiled, "You don't think Sanada only asked me to find you, did you? I do happen to have three morphers. I've said it before, I'll say it again, and I'll keep saying it until they day I die: Once A Ranger, Always A Ranger." Jared rolled the belt up and put it into an inner pocket of his own coat before turning to Goldar, "Ok monkey. Lead the way before I change my mind."

The machines beeped and hummed softly as Artemis awakened from his brief slumber. The fluids drained and the doors opened as he sluggishly stepped out of the regeneration tank with slow, cautious steps. He held his hand over his eyes, all too eager to block out the artificial lights beaming down on him as the flickered to life. The tired young man threw a robe over himself before he swiftly sauntered out of the room and took a seat, closing his eyes and taking in a deep breath and held it there for a few seconds before slowly exhaling to a measured count. “It’s so quiet,” he said lowly, savouring this small window in time for as long as humanly possible as the cold air in the ship brushed against his neck and coursed along his body like a gentle breeze.

Silence was something that so many people could never quite get used to or take the time to enjoy. Some folks hated it, it made people nervous or on edge but for Artemis the silence was something he had always enjoyed and took the time to appreciate whenever possible. Even back in his time at the Citadel he would often mind somewhere quiet to scarper off to, if anything to get a quick nap.

He thought back to his living quarters back in the Citadel and tried to think of a good way to go about describing it as he pictured it. Giving what few accessories he had on him when he wandered into the Citadel it was really no surprise. For the first few weeks of his time there he’d been hiding out in the lower quarters and using his unique abilities to steal and pilfer whatever he could get his hands on. Minimalistic was probably the best word to use when describing his personal sense of living and style. Compared to the other two members of what had once been Team Ryder, Art's plain Jane sense of fashion was very much a dissonating factor compared to the cheerful personality that he had back then but then he remembered that that was the point. Everything about himself he kept to a minimal extent from his looks to his fighting prowess to playing the fool and whatever else he could downgrade and lessen in order to fly under the rader. Going incognito into places was something that Artemis much preferred at any rate. Going in for loud, flashy entrances were something he found ostentatious and was uncomfortable with. Now that he thought about it the sheer number of contrasts and contradictions there were to his act back were immeasureable and it honestly amazed him when he thought back on it that it took them so long to see his true colours.

He skimmed through the wardorbe, desperately trying to find something comfortable, frowning all the while as he did so. Eventually, he settled on a rather plain blue t-shirt, a grey hoodie and last but not least opted for forgoing footwear for the time being. "Beats a prison uniform at least," he said to himself as he looked at his reflection in the mirror. The clothes looked over sized on him thanks to the weight loss. "Better check on those two wise guys and see how they're getting on." Without any further delay, he headed to the cockpit and accessed in the surveillance modules that he'd installed into them both and saw that things were coming along smoothly. Sure enough, minutes later and they arrived with Adam Park and Jared no less. "Took them long enough," he thought as he opted to play a small prank involving a body bag as he overheard them discuss wanting to see a body and Art immediately put two and two together as to what they'd been told and acted accordingly. So he hid and waited and watched as Goldar and Rito showed them to the med bay where the bodybag was and they opened it up, revealing a perfect replica of him.

"Satisfied now?" Goldar asked gruffly to them both as the four of them huddled around the bodybag.

"So... Are we done now?" Art called from behind them. Immediately heads spun round in his direction and the jaws of the two vets dropped as Adam feebly spluttered out the obvious remark of him not being dead. "Course not. Could a ghost do this?" came the cheeky remark and followed by a slap to Jared's face. "Anyway, get seated and belted up kids. We're off to see the Wizard. Or rather, we're off to Triforia to see my big bro so we can get the mission on the go. Capiche? Good."

Jared stared blankly at the bodybag as Goldar presented it. Adam crossed his arms and looked around. He was about to say something when Art appeared as if out of thin air. Adam's jaw dropped while Jared stared at his best friend. Art then slapped Jared across the face, "Ow." He turned back to face Goldar and Rito and growled at them, "You two are so lucky I don't have my morpher right now." He then turned back to Art and rubbed his cheek, "The Hell was that for?! You know what? Nevermind." He looked back at the bodybag, "Your handy work, I assume. Though I'll bet you had no idea what these two idiots were planning." Then, for the first time, Jared examined Artemis, head to toe, "Bro you look terrible. Have they not been feeding you in prison?"

Adam pushed through between the boys and walked toward the exit to the medbay, "We'll have time for that later. Sanada is waiting. Though, not on Triforia, I'll bet." He stopped at the door and turned around, smirking at everyone and staring at Art who was giving him a 'how did you know?' look, "Oh don't give me that look, Artemis Belmont." He motioned to Goldar and Rito, "They said we were to go to Triforia to find your brother to revive you. Obvious that was a lie since here you are! So, that begs the question: Is there really anything on Triforia we need to get to Sanada?" He then tapped the doorway of the medbay, "Also, how is Cyclopsis still functional? Last I checked, Tommy and the others reduced it to a floating head."

"Well, one of my brother's is actually there. Works as a politician," a rare grin flashed across the thin face of the death row inmate towards Adam as the veteran ranger quickly put the pieces together. Sharper than he looked. As for Jared, he looked quite healthy by comparison to his own appearance. He was still rocking the copious amounts of leather and now had a hipster beard going on and had gained more bulk and muscle on his frame and with Jared being six feet tall, it was definitely imposing. Then again, Artemis had always been shorter than both Jared and Tony. "Meh. The mind is more important than the body Jared," he answered, tapping the side of his head for emphasis before promptly slapping him again. "First one was for fun. This one is for thinking I was Triforian. Good God man! They are like a walking race of threesomes for crying out loud! That's just gross from a biological standpoint!" The skulking lunatic languidly made his way out of the med bay and fetched himself a slice of chocolate cake from the fridge and a bowl of strawberries and eagerly gobbled on them like a man possessed. "Well spotted. I'm surprised you can decipher that in this mode. Anyway, I made it. It was a pretty easy task. Had to go through a wormhole to get a couple of remnants of it but otherwise, pretty straight forward and simple job," he said in between a mouthful of strawberries being tossed into his mouth in rapid succession. Adam winced at the sight of him devouring so many sweets with little to no effort and Rito stared at him with white hot envy as if to ask 'Where's mine?' to the scrawny youth. Somethings never changed and clearly being imprisoned for so long hadn't rid Artemis of his infamous sweet tooth. The sheer number of times he was off eating cake, chocolate, brownies, ice cream, crepes and sweets and drinking endless cups of tea and coffee or procrastinating in the heat of battle to do so was a staggeringly large amount. "Anyway, enough with the small-talk. Let's be off. Goldar!"

"On it!" he called back from the cockpit as the engines fired up and sped off into orbit, leaving the confines of their Earth. Now the big question was how the hell they were going to jump to future could be asked, Artemis immediately anticipated this possible question as he whipped out a device from his pocket and pushed a button on it. Mere moments later, a portal ripped open into the black abyss of space and Cyclopsis sped through it at full speed. "Artificial portal generator. Enables the creation of artificial portals and to cross the boundaries into the different multi-verses and timelines. Made it back when I was sixteen. Forgot I had it to be honest." Artemis drawled in a bored tone as they exited the portal, the swirling green vortex closed up behind them immediately. "Welcome to the future. And knowing that moron they'll be in the Astro Megaship. Probably an updated version but with still the same functions..." Artemis grumbled before hammering away at a keyboard before successfully locating the Astro Megaship. "Huh. Same access code and signal. Some things never change."

He cleared his throat as he recorded a message and sent it off to the ship, his voice monotonous and lacking any enthusiasm or energy. "Yo Sanada. We're here, you're queer. Now come on, let's meet up, get cake and talk battle plans. See you soon. And PS. Hello Jacob."
