Power Rangers 25th Anniversary Episode Special

First images and details were announced for the 25th anniversary special of our favorite heroes in spandex. This comes with the return of Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel which is in Hiatus for the moment.

As per Comicbook.com, a special reunion will be held, with three past rangers coming back: Wes (Jason Faunt), Kat (Catherine Sutherland) and the OG sixth ranger known as Tommy (Jason David Frank). With more to be announced later.

The episode is slated to air on August 28th on Nickelodeon. Hopefully this image can satiate the curiosity until then. Personally it would have been great to see Kat with the Zeo powers instead but this is also good.

So, I've yet to watch, no cable connection and netflix is a no-go.....still so very excited to see this unfold.

However, reading some 'spoilers' today at work and I just can't stop thinking about this massive...i mean MASSIVE mis-step IMO. Master Morpher?! ARE YOU EFFING KIDDING!?

The lack of explanation on this is incredibly disappointing...especially when the Universe is expanding at an exponential rate as of late.

*sidenote - will we ever get some Red Lighting Turbo Power ever again!? Come on Tommy!!

For me having Rocky as Tyrannosaurus and not Jason was an affront IMO and a slap in the face as a fan. Have him as Zeo Blue perhaps, but as the OG Red and not have Austin St. John? This reeks of JDF meddling.

Other than that it was way better than legendary fail...i mean battle.

I accept it as recompense for Rocky / Steve Cardenas getting fucked out of Forever Red. He deserved this.
