Takashi and Isaiah stared at the broken stars before them silent as they watched their new Red Ranger follow his even newer teammates.

"Sensei... I thought there were only three stars..." Isaiah looked puzzled.*

Takashi nodded solemnly. "There were... indeed he comes from another time... then perhaps with his sudden arrival in our time... a new star has been created..."

Isaiah rushed over to his computer screen where he began watching the rangers in action. He had put many cameras in central parts of the city. Surely they would inquire more about the possibility of a White Ranger

    Back to the Rangers.

Grazer watched from a distance as three humans seemed to be running into battle instead of away from it. They were brave, but stupid. What did they think they were? Power Rangers? He had to admit they were decent fighters. But still too foolish. He made his way towards one of the shops seeing his minions had trapped two of the humans inside of the building.

"I must say... you humans are gutsier than I have given you credit for...
" the monster explained as the bots began to make room for him to enter. "However... you are defying the will of lord Zonbu Nara... and for that I must eliminate you all..." Grazer raised his claw to strike when suddenly a small sword came flying through the air nearly missing him and planted into the wall behind the female human.

He whipped his head back as he saw a man in a Red Shokozu, wearing symbols of an Ikamashi clan member. "What?! Impossible... there are no more of his Clan..." Grazer then turned his attention back to the humans. "Grr... You stay right there!" He ordered turning his back to the woman as the Narabots began to swarm in. But he had provided his back to her for the moment.

    Sia O'Brien.

Narabots buzzed around Sia, flies awaiting swatting. She was immersed in the fight around her, unaware of the general walking in her direction.

" must say... you humans are gutsier than I have given you credit for..." the monster explained as the bots began to make room for him to enter. "However you are defying the will of Lord Zonbo Nara...and for that I must eliminate you all..." The general's claw raises in the air...at the same moment Sia hears her name being called and a sword flying towards her. A mere moment later it's embedded into the wall besides her head. Blinking, she turns her gaze in Ciro's directions...as the general looks at him as well. Sia reached up and grasped the sword...pulling it down.

"You stay right there..." He demanded and Sia resisted the urge to stick her tongue out and tell him to stick it.

She raised the sword to strike but was intercepted as more narabot's swarmed her. "Yo, Drew...." Sia called out. She wasn't clear to assist Ciro, surrounded by the narabot's but he seemed to be mowing through them like a lawn mower. She flipped off of the ledge she'd been standing on, striking a narabot down, jamming the sword into the other's stomach. She ducked, twirled and pivoted in between the swarming narabots. If she kept them busy, their attention on her then maybe they'd forget the presence of Drew and he'd sneak past and help Ciro. She wasn't sure if he needed it, but one could never be too sure. Her hand jutted out, clutching onto the wrist on the passing narabot, pulling them in to her space, bringing her knee up , once, twice, three times ...then spinning them out onto it's back.
"Stay down." She said as her attention snapped towards the boys and hoping they were in better shape with the increasing numbers, and the ugly who was out to carry the will of the lord z bo or something. She hadn't paid all that much attention when he was talking. Listening wasn't a particular skill Sia mastered. Darn shame, really. She twirled out of another incoming narabots fist, slicing through.

As the old saying went; The best defense is a good offense. And if anything of his fighting prowess was to go off of so far then it was a safe bet to say that Drew embodied that concept wholeheartedly. When the ones that had scored lucky shots in via punches and kicks, he cackled and praised them for the good effort, in the midst of this seemingly sadomasochistic tango, he had moved from using the coat rail to a mop as an impromptu bo-staff. There was no high flying Shaolin or Wushu acrobatics in how he moved or fought, everything was rough and tumble and if he wasn't using it to beat them into submission or countering then he was using it to choke them out. When one of the bots had chopped the mop in two, he went straight for dual wielding the broken pieces, being particularly fond of stabbing them in the eyes with it. If it could be used to gain an advantage in the fight then he was using it without pause of hesitation. More often than not when it came to dealing with them, his pragmatism and aggression caught them off guard as if they weren't expecting it. He fought more like a villain on their side than that of an honour bound heroes that they'd encountered in the previous generations of the chosen ones.

The main monster yammered on about something that he didn't catch as his flunkies made way for him to enter and then as quickly as he showed up, that irritating time-hopping piece of shit dragged him away. He looked across from his team-mates, seeing that the hot chick was now armed and dangerous with a sword and doing quite nicely for herself and that pyro-prick was off doing something. For the time being, they were focusing their efforts on Ciro and Sia which frankly suited him down to the ground and he used this to his advantage and slipped out of the shop and away in the chaos.

He retreated to the higher levels, making use of his environment, crawling under objects and hiding and ducking for cover behind walls in a bid to keep himself hidden before finding an adequate hiding spot in the form of a DIY store and watched the battle from afar. He crouched down low and kept tabs on each of the combatanats. As Ciro and the monster went toe to toe and Sia was keeping the Narabots busy, it, now was the perfect time for him to plan and make a move. "Determination alone doesn't win fights. Gotta regroup and re-equip," he thought and ventured deeper in to gather supplies ranging from barbed wire, a nailgun and a bag of gravel and sand. Underneath the flickering lights of this damaged store and surrounded by dead bodies, Drew made a careful effort to stay cool and collected so as to not alert the enemy of his presence, the sounds of fighting and relentless chaos served to mask his movements all the more. He loaded the nail gun and opened the barbed wire up, uncoiling the barbed wire and knotting it into a noose and attaching it to a bag of cement. He shimmied out of the store, tipping the contents of the gravel onto the ground floor below and Ciro noticed this and consciously made an effort to ensure that the monster's focus and attention was solely on them and as Grazer was pushed back and into position, he noticed the sudden change of flooring and looked down in confusion and it was there that Drew sprung his attack. The barbed wire wrapped around his neck and the cement bag was tossed overboard, hoisting the creature up off the ground floor to his level. "Let's get airborne!" The jagged metal twine tightened and teared into him further as the crude and gruesome hangman's nose strangled and stabbed into his throat at the same time as he came face to face with his assilant. With the airs and graces of a sadistic dominatrix, Drew pulled his head towards his mockingly. "Well, well. Look. What. I. Caught." he said sweetly, eyes gleaming and licking his lips with lustful and ravenous delight. He reached down and pressed something against his eye, nailgun firing off a nail into the creature's eye embedding it there, a gasping agonizing scream tumbling out of Grazer's mouth.

"H-how could a mere human do this?!" Grazer choked out.

"Says a mere demon," Drew retorted coldly and let him dangle there for just a little while longer to drag out the pain and suffering. "Flight canceled!" He cut the noose down and the monster tumbled to the ground floor below in a graceless heap and Drew hopped down after him to rejoin his team mates and stood next to his leader. "How about we wrap this up?" he asked the Red Ranger.

    Ciro Ikamashi - Blazing Spirit

While Grazer had spent his time idly wandering around instead of engaging in battle, Ciro had done the opposite. The sword he had taken from a fallen Narabot slammed into the dented metal head of a Narabot that had attempted to capture Drew during his high stakes trap setting. Sia had made finding a new sword fairly easy as she seemed to be cutting through these machines quite easily. Perhaps Isaiah's toys were more lethal than their evil counterparts.

As Grazer was hoisted up into the air, dangling like a hang man, Ciro felt his stomach tighten. He felt his heart begin to sink as the nailgun as used to pierce Grazer's eye. This wasn't how Ciro fought, torture wasn't necessary. However, it made a hole for Ciro to get through in order to break up the mob forming on Sia.

Ciro's Narabot blade burst through the chest of the closest Narabot to Sia, and Ciro had to duck following that as Sia's own attack sent the Narabot careening through the shop wall, allowing the Red and Pink rangers to join Drew where he began bragging about his noose trick.

"You're right, it's time to free him of his misery." Ciro responded, giving Drew a stern expression.

Ciro reached into the pocket of his shozoku and pulled out his shinobi changer. He set it against his wrist, allowing it's automated systems to anchor it to his wrist. He held it up in front of his face, pointing is housing toward Grazer as he once again reached into his pocket. In his hand he held the Red Shinobi Star.

"Ready?!" Questioned Ciro as he waited for his team mates to catch up.

"It's Morphin' Time!" The Shinobi Striker lights up as a robotic voice shouts out from the morpher "Ninja Art: Transform" Ciro throws his Shinobi Star into the air, sending it flying like a boomerang into the sky as a swirling, red portal is opened by the Shinobi Striker. Ciro leaped through the portal, and came out of the other side clad in a red suit. A blank red helmet forms around his head, as the Shinobi Star spins past him, launching several golden orbs that formed a ring around Ciro. The Shinobi Star circles back toward his head. One of the golden orbs rises to form the and begins to lock into place. The golden accents of the suit lower down from shoulder height, summoned from the tips of the spinning Shinobi Star's lock. The Star smacked into that golden orb, turning it into a curved piece of forehead armor. As the star emitted steam, hissing with energy that now filled Ciro's body, the remaining golden orbs took their place around his red suit, and adorned him with golden trim, shoulder armor, knee armor, and as it formed the golden trim of this suit's faux shozoku crease, a Red Shinobi star's shape appeared over his left breast in contrast to the black portion of the suit.

"The Raging Flame, Red Shinobi Ranger!"

    Sia O’Brien

Sia kicked out, knocking the two double teaming hercareening backwards. More flooded in and came at her. Overwhelmed by the sheer numbers, relief flooded through her as Ciro broke through as a blade burst through the chestas one rounded on her. Sia’s fist connected with the chin of the narabot’s, it isflying back through the shop wall, as Ciro duck out of its path.

They changed paths and headed to where Drew held Grazer up, barbedwire and a nail gun that he used with ease. Sia blocked out the image in frontof her, not dwelling on the fact of what was in front of her. The monster droppedlanding in an ungraceful heap on the ground.

Ciro stepped forward, Drew and Sia both behind him….onephrase…to change them all. She reached into her pocket, pulling out her pinkshinobi star.

The words felt natural as they rolled off her tongue.

    "It's Morphin'Time!"
The Shinobi Striker lights up as a robotic voice shouts out fromthe morpher
    "Ninja Art: Transform"
Sia throws her Shinobi Star as a pinkportal opens. Sia leaps through coming out of the other side in a pink suit. Ahelmet forms around her head as the Shuriken Visor spins and locks in place.

    “Unmoving Mountain, PinkShinobi Ranger!”

Sia gaze drifted down toher hands in front of her…the power coursing through her. She felt untouchable,as if nothing could touch her. She tested out the intercom in her helmet.
    “So…testing,testing…this thing on?”
    Sia called out…
    ” This is remarkable.”
Her gaze returnedto the fight before her. She looked from the newly morphed red and then back toDrew. Tilting her head in his direction…her fist opening and closing at herside.
“So, Isaiah was it? Anything we should know?”
    Sia questioned…herstare never off Gazer.

The sharp tongued Englishman took the sternness of their leader in stride as well as the not so subtle disapproval at his methods but surprisingly Drew didn't utter a word back in response. If anything, he could certainly see the Red Ranger's perspective and even understand why he didn't approve of it. Sia's mutual discomfort could also be spotted from at least ten miles off. Well, if they wanted to keep their hands clean and keep things fair and square that was fine. If neither of them wanted to or could stoop down to such low levels of depravity then he'd happily shoulder that responsibility and do what they couldn't.

He watched as the two of them morphed, arching an eyebrow and grinning a crooked and toothy grin in excitement before following in hot pursuit.

"It's Morphin' Time!" With those three words said, power coursed through veins and the device around his wrist activated. Blue energy surged and crackled around him before enveloping him completely. The resonating energy simmered down and that old addict's itch that he'd burrowed deep started rearing its head back up and he found himself wanting more and more of this intoxicating power that was now his to control and wield.

"Yeah it's on." Isaiah chimed in, responding to Sia's question with a good natured humour. "So here's the deal guys and girl, the Ninja Stars unlock your Ranger form and enables y'all the chance to fight the Nara Clan's monsters on equal footing. It gives an increase in strength, speed and durability and allows you to use an element of nature. Those cool role calls you did should tip you off to each of your elements. You've got the Earth element, your fearless leader Ciro's got Fire obviously. And the sadist has Water which is just the weirdest elemental choice ever..." Drew lowly growled out a response of calling him an arsehole. "What? Well it is! Think of the katana's on your back serving as starter weapons and you also have another weapon in store which the Stars themselves mould and create to the tastes of the wielder, kinda like err Soul Calibur! Only with nifty ninja scrolls to help out there! Oh right! Okay so here's how to get access to them: See those nifty Batman utility belts on the front of your suits? They also act as miniature scrolls. Stick 'em onto your katana and envision what weapon you want and then boom the Stars create and summon them and you guys get to cross reference and swap weapons! How friggin cool is that?!"

As Isaiah finished his excited explanation, he watched on the monitors as Drew's heart rate and adrenaline levels spiked considerably more, concern crossing into his expression, he looked over at Takashi and back at the computer monitors. "Nathaniel, you ok over there man? Your vitals are going through the friggin roof here man!"

"Never been better!" Drew replied hungrily. At the bloodthirsty tone, Isaiah visibly winced at the sound of it and Takashi stroked his beard and frowned.

"Are you sure the Stars made the right choice with him?" Isaiah asked quietly to Takashi.

Takashi hesitated. "He... He has a great of potential. However, the previous wielders of that power were never so turbulent... They were calm and focused. Nathaniel is... Different."

"I can still friggin hear you two piss ants. It's rude." Drew growled impatiently. "Shut that shit down right now. You got something to say about me, say it to me,"

"Oh crap," Isaiah muttered, realising his blunder and hastily offered up an apology before shutting the intercom off for now until he was needed.

Drew brazenly licked his lips from under his helmet and reached up with his left hand only to find that there was nothing there at all. "Really?! You make all them right handed? Screw you!" he ranted, knowing full well that Isaiah was monitoring the fight from back at the base. With a tumultuous growl he unfastened the sheathed sword at his back and held it in his right hand. He flipped the weapon round in his hands and held it in his left hand then with the swing of his arm, the sheath was tossed away in a needlessly showy fashion and casually sauntered over to the bots. "Okay... Let's dance!"
